Going back to school will be a lot easier for School Social Workers and the families we work with! Many thanks to over 200 Superintendents who went to "the Hill" last week as well as numerous Collective Care Team members (i.e. School Social Workers, School Counselors, School Psychologists and School Nurses) who let Congress know the serious impact these cuts would have had on our students and their families who are working hard trying to make a living and in need of these vital programs! Everyone's advocacy contributed to Bipartisan Congressional push back including a joint letter signed by 10 Republican Senators urging the restoration of these funds. 🙌
